the girls started their first day of school today. 4 hours of spanish every morning. They were a little nervous at first but they seem to be excited about tomorrow. We played around after school and heading into the main town by bus.
We watched a drunken horse parade today. It was pretty awesome. The horses dance and the riders drink. It was a fundraiser for their Red Cross.
we made it to Costa Rica! We managed to make it through the airport speaking our limited hillbilly spanish and then Costa Rica gave us a strong dose of español. No one in the house we are staying in speaks English except their 8 year old daughter. The girls can’t wait to meet Maria Celeste. […]
