Ho… ho… ho…

With this Christmas came many exciting things…. noisy toys, a winter head cold, and Marion saying: “Ho, ho, ho” and “Tank You” both very important things to know at this time of year. Marion has enjoyed the Christmas season in Berkeley with many fun events. We went on a winter carousel, visited amazing houses decorated with lights, and even took in a marionette show (she loved the puppets!) It has been fun to watch her eyes dazzle with all of the silliness. Everything came to a pinnacle for her when she needed to learn to open presents. She shined as usual – unwrapping presents with each of her grandparents while web-conferencing. What a wonderful year 2008 has been for us. We are so grateful for everything we have.

Statue of Liberty – Not So Welcoming….

We arrived in New York with a dream! A dream like so many others…. to see the Statue of Liberty. We reserved our tickets on-line, printed them out, flew across the country, waited in an hour long line in 20 degree weather…. only to find out you had to get a whole other set of super secret tickets to actually go up in the statue of liberty. Needless to say we were pretty peeved, Marion more than anyone. So we enjoyed the clear day in New York but we found the french lady liberty not so inviting.

Big Apple – Bigger Balloons

The Geracis Take Manhattan this year for Thanksgiving! We flew across the country to see one of the coolest parades ever. We had an amazing time and Marion even managed to smile once or twice. What a great birthday present!

Playing with my Peeps

Marion and I have been enjoying the last of the great fall weather. With tons of friends to hang out and play with we have been chillin' East Bay Style.
