In her short life, Marion has been out of the house more than a
teenager on summer vacation. She has no idea how excited we are every
time we go out with her. So far she has been out for:
I missed the first few minutes of the movie because she was holding a
triple-threat diaper session with me in the restroom—that is when she
does number one, number two, and spits up all while I am trying to
change the first mess that sent us to the changing station in the first
place. Once Marion and I got back into the theater, she settled in for
a milkshake and I settled in for a beer. She fell asleep and Jackie and
I had a nice date night on Day 10 of Marion's life.

My mom just left to go back to Arizona. She's been a huge help for us this past week, keeping our house clean and our tummies fed so that we could devote 100% of our attention to Marion. Now that we've had that great kick-start, we're finally beginning to get our feet under us. Jackie's getting the hang of feeding, and I'm getting the hang of changing diapers and generally calming the shrieking monkey. I feel like we'll have Marion fully integrated into our lives in no time because she seems all too happy to be part of our lives.
Everyone join us in welcoming Marion into this world. She was born on Saturday night, July 21 at 10:43pm. She weighed 7lbs 7oz. She is beautiful and healthy. Jackie is doing really well, although she's pretty tired. We both couldn't be any happier.

Last weekend we had the pleasure to go up to Calistoga to see our good
friends, Noah & Louise, get married. They had the wedding at what
seemed to be an old campground–like where kids would go to summer
camp. So it had cabins and a couple of pools and a lake and, of course,
a mess hall where we had breakfasts and lunch. It was very cool to be
back in summer camp, except with all of your adult friends. The wedding
ceremony was absolutely beautiful, on the edge of a cliff overlooking a
beautiful scene at sunset. The best part was that Jackie and I were
able to squeeze in one last quick vacation before the little Geraci
comes along. Enjoy our pictures from the weekend:
June 23, 2007 – Jesse enjoyed playing around at the Rose Bowl in Los
Angeles. There was lots of bouncing and PIRATES!
His summer internship sponsored a mock trial in the LA
area and we had the great chance of traveling together for this fun
event.
