THIS JEW CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS – an e-mail by Marnie Fisher

“Hi guys.  This year my dog and I will be celebrating Christmas.  We are very
excited, or at least I am cause I know what is waiting for me under my tree.
That's right, this Jew has her very own Christmas tree.  I share it with Mike
and Tonka.  I have finished all of my shopping and am trying as hard as I can to
wait for the day to come…it's really hard…I don't know how you people
wait…all those presents just sitting there waiting to be opened.  Christmas
eve, Mike and I will be drinking hot chocolate on the sofa with the dog next to
our tree while watching A Christmas Story…and we get to open 1 gift.  1 gift
only, I think Mike may have made this rule up.  Christmas day will be spent at
his sister's house.  Anyway, for the first time I can remember, I have no idea
what to get either of you, not a clue.  Jackie, that is why I wanted to know
where you would be, I was going to send an edible arrangement.  I don't know if
I did it wrong but they said they would not deliver to El Cerrito.  I tried, I
failed.  On to plan B.  You 2 get nothing.  Marion wins.  Something for her will
be arriving
shortly, I hope, unlike the baby shower gift that
arrived 3 months after she was born.  On another note, I don't think one person
has left a message on my phone without commenting about my new message.  Thank
you, I love it, Mike still gets a kick out of it.  Gotta go help Tonka get his
leg out of a couple feet of snow and ice!” – Marnie Fisher
