Marion started crawling on March 14th. I know this because I was out of town for the day on a class field trip and Jackie broke the exciting news to me while I was at the Burbank airport. I thought as a student I wouldn't have to miss all this cool stuff. How sad. I wish I could now report that we have video evidence of those first momentous scoots, but alas we do not. Instead I have a clip from a few days before she got it all together where you can see the fire in her belly but unfortunately still lacking in the coordination. Jackie likes to say that being inside a baby's body must be like trying to figure out how to work a backhoe.
The next video is from just a couple of days ago—an impressive demonstration of her crawling prowess. Marion effortlessly transports herself all the way across our living room to attack the camera.
The next frontier is climbing and cruising. Marion climbs up all all sorts of stuff. Sometimes it goes well, and other times… well…
