We didn’t follow that advice and went on a wild ganzo chase. We found the falls but they weren’t making it easy on us.
Sitting in the rain eating frozen berries.
Gigantic millipede
Google maps led us to a dead end. Luckily the directions to the falls were spray painted on the wall behind the dead end. Guess we aren’t the first ones to hit this glitch.

Oh my! We drove out to Rincón to go to a music festival. After we watched world class surfers and played in the water.

No dishes were washed by us, no food was made by us, no laundry was done, no chores – just time spent with Grandma and Fred. Such a special trip for all of us. I know everyone had to work hard to afford this trip but it was worth every cent. The meals eaten together, the shows watched together clapping and cheering, so many games and laughs shared. We love you Pollyanna and Tiger Woods. Thanks for making us a big priority in your lives. Much love – Big Three, Peewee, Sun Bird, Red Headed Woodpecker, and Dr. No.

We set seas today. No internet for a little while. Don’t worry about us. We are safe and sound.
Someone was thinking! Cartoons at the bar.

Last night we took the kids on a two hour kayak trip through mangrove tunnels to a lagoon with brilliant stars and phytoplankton that is bioluminescent. No pictures because it was a wet and dark trip.

Some may know how interested Marion (and subsequently Helena) has been into circuses. I took them to a Mexican Circus in San Juan tonight. The girls loved every minute of it.
On our hike down to the waterfalls in El Yunque we had fun with some clay that was the same type of clay the indigenous people used for plates and building homes. We used it for face paint.
The kids and Jesse went off the beaten path to climb some falls.
Cool plants in a tide pool
Kids spent the afternoon body surfing
Swimming in college friend Marc Bejarano’s pool. His house was on the beach. Very fun!
